The County of Toru ń, with the support of the Association of Polish Architects Branch in Toruń, has announced an architectural competition for the design of the new headquarters of the County Office at 80A Maria Skłodowska-Curie Street in Toruń.

purpose

The purpose of the competition, as we read in the regulations, is to obtain the best concept in terms of architectural, spatial and functional-utility aspects of the public building of the District Starost Office in Toruń, together with land development, utility networks and the necessary technical and communications infrastructure.

terms and conditions

The competition is a realization competition, one-stage, conducted in a limited procedure.

The subject of the competition is the execution of an urban and architectural concept for a new office and administrative building of the County Office in Toruń. The designed building should have a maximum of 4 overground floors and a flat roof.

Competition entries will be judged for: attractiveness of the proposed architectural solutions and development, functional-utility efficiency of the building, functional-utility efficiency and accessibility of land development, application in the building and land development of solutions related to climate neutrality and the impact of the investment on the environment, feasibility and economic optimization of the adopted solutions in relation to the cost of implementation of the investment, and the degree to which the proposed solutions take into account the cost of use and maintenance of the investment.

prizes

  • First Prize - PLN 50,000 gross and an invitation to negotiate a sole-source contract to provide a service based on the competition work
  • II Prize - 40 000 PLN gross
  • Third Prize - PLN 30,000 gross
  • Three distinctions - 20 000 PLN gross each

calendar

  • Recommended deadline for submitting requests for clarification of the competition regulations regarding applications for admission to the competition. The Organizer will provide explanations immediately, but no later than 2 days before the deadline for submission of applications for admission to the competition: by February 12, 2024

  • Deadline forsubmission of applications for admission to the competition, as well as subjective evidence, declarations and documents confirming compliance with the requirements set by the organizer: until February 20, 2024

  • Deadline forinforming competition participants of admission to the competition and invitation to submit entries or notification of non-admission to the competition: until February 26, 2024

  • Recommended deadline for submitting requests for clarification of the competition regulations regarding the competition works. The Organizer will provide explanations immediately, but no later than 2 days before the deadline for submission of competition works: until March 29, 2024

  • Deadline for submission of competition works: until April 16, 2024, 4:00 pm

  • Deadline forannouncement of competition results: until April 30, 2024
