The Office of Technical Inspection has announced a competition to develop a design for the construction of an office and laboratory building in passive standard, along with the necessary building facilities, parking spaces and a rainwater retention tank for the Office of Technical Inspection in Rzeszow.

purpose

The purpose of the competition, as we read in the regulations, is to select the best entry, a conceptual design for the construction of an office-laboratory building for the headquarters of the Office of Technical Inspection in Rzeszow, and to invite the winner of the 1st Prize to negotiate on a sole-source basis, in order to award a contract for the execution of the design documentation being a detailing of the competition entry and to provide author's supervision during the execution of the investment.

terms and conditions

The competition is a one-stage competition , conducted in a restricted procedure.

The designed free-standing building with a flat roof should blend in with its surroundings, be characterized by a compact body, represent a distinctive purity and elegance of form. With the right orientation on the plot and high thermal insulation parameters of the partitions, it should limit heat loss, and optimally designed glazing should allow maximum use of daylight and protection against overheating. A rainwater retention reservoir with a pumping station should be included in the southern part of the plot.

Preliminary calculations should be made in the PHPP Passive Building Design program in the version applicable to the Passivhaus Institut Darmstadt criteria certification process.
