Cemex has announced the Förderpreis Concrete Central Europe 2024 competition aimed at those involved in building materials research.

The competition is aimed at practitioners and researchers from construction companies, as well as scientists from universities and institutes involved in construction materials research.
The competition entry should include:
- Ascientific paper (e.g., master's thesis, doctoral thesis), the paper must not be older than two years. The work must be published in a professional scientific journal. It is possible to submit the work in both Polish and English.
- The abstract, abstract of the work should be 10 to 20 pages in A4 format and should be prepared in English.
- Description of the implementation of the project to be implemented, the description in English, should be about how to implement the main idea contained in the work, with reference to the activities of Cemex. The material should include a description of how Cemex is perceived in the industry and in the socio-economic environment, and how the conclusions contained in the work can be used in the sector.
- Curriculum vitae of the person submitting the project

prizes
- 1st Prize - €10,000; the winner of the competition will present his/her project and the concept for its implementation at scientific and technical events organized by Cemex
- II Prize - 3,000 euros
- III Prize - 2,000 euros
