The organizers of the Shaping Space educational program initiated by the Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland invite young people - students in grades 6-8 of elementary and secondary schools - to participate in the 10th edition of the competition. purpose
The purpose of the competition, as we read in the regulations, is to encourage students to prepare interesting work, and establishments and teachers to participate in the "Shaping Space" educational program. It is also important to develop the ability to present the results of one's own work, sensitize young people to the problems of others, pay attention to the multilayered nature of the city and the different needs of different users of space.
This year, young participants are tasked with thinking about who or what we don't usually see and proposing their idea for a space where the titular invisible will feel comfortable.
The idea does not have to relate to a specific and existing place, be adaptable to different locations or designed for a specific space, the important thing is that it answers the question, what can be done to make the space more welcoming, inviting and hospitable?
terms and conditions
Competition proposals should be presented on a board (its template is attached to the regulations), which can be submitted electronically via a form until May 29 this year at 23:59.
Works will be judged in two age categories: elementary schools (grades 6-8) and high schools. Works can be submitted individually or in teams of up to five students.

prizes
The competition provides for one main cash prize for 1st place for the institution represented by the participants in the amount of PLN 4 thousand gross (in each age category) and one prize of PLN 1 thousand gross for 2nd place (in each age category).
