Competition for the design of the Transfer Center in Rybnik

descriptionDecember 12 this year. The Katowice branch of the Association of Polish Architects, in cooperation with the authorities of the City of Rybnik, announced the results of the competition for the design of the Transfer Center in the Downtown district.
The competition was an implementation competition, unlimited and one-stage. The aim of the competition is to obtain the best architectural, spatial and functional-utility concept for the construction of the Transfer Center in Rybnik, together with land development in the area necessary for the realization of the Project.
The work was evaluated by the Competition Jury, consisting of:
- Piotr Buśko - Chairman of the Competition Court, SARP Katowice Branch;
- Rafał Paszenda - Referent Judge, SARP Katowice branch;
- Henryk Piątek - Deputy referee, SARP Katowice branch;
- Bartosz Gurawski - Architect;
- Janusz Koper - Deputy Mayor of the City of Rybnik
- Jacek Hawel - Director of the Investment Center in Rybnik;
- Dr. Henryk Mercik-Municipal Conservator of Monuments in Rybnik.
The function of secretary is performed by Wojciech Fudala, and the function of assistant secretary is performed by Paulina Nagel.
The competition received 14 entries. Three prizes were awarded.
