Jury opinion

When the world so easily forgets pain and suffering, when history teaches us nothing and once again the unsatisfied urge destroys the fragile peace, it becomes important to constantly remind. Failure to remember obliterates the past, without which there can never be a future.
"Memory space - memory of space", is an attempt to consolidate memory.
Built on personal feelings and sensations, analytical in its structure, the principle of emotional connections is transformed into a poetic and subtle architectural intervention. On the ruins of the Gross-Rosen concentration camp, installations are created to catalog emotions and sensations.
Here, the architecture, stripped of its functionality, is mainly meant to trigger a reaction.
The author confronts us and provokes reflection. The reaction of these experiences with space are pure and primitive emotions: fear, pain, suffering, pity and contempt.
It is these feelings that are liberated and elevated beyond the concentration camp that seem more important than the form of the objects themselves.
It is in this way that the memory of space stimulates and expands the space of our memory.
