JURY OPINION
The author of the present work has made in-depth historical and conservation analyses of the object that go beyond typical studies. The commission's attention was drawn to the creative approach to the subject of restoring the function of this degraded, but important from the point of view of the history of Poland's development, object. The proposed discreet but thoroughly modern architecture fits in very well with the preserved ruins. Most of the volume is underground, and the new above-ground structures have been very skillfully inscribed into the historic building.
