JURY OPINION
The honorable mention was awarded for a thorough research analysis of the historic Dominican monastery complex in Sandomierz, as well as for the revitalization conclusions resulting from this analysis, allowing for the creation of new quality in the historic space. The shaping of the new development was carried out in an economical, often openwork form and with full respect for the historic architectural fabric. The unquestionable creative value of the awarded work is the finishing of the newly designed building — unevenly distributed burnt wood planking, which, as the author himself notes, "is supposed to be associated with destruction and passing, constituting a continuity of the narrative of the place."
