Jury opinion
The work was awarded for its clear compositional arrangement, properly shaping the functional-spatial connections with the surroundings. The proposed concept harmoniously fits into the neighborhood, emphasizing the view axis of the church - railway station. The presented proposals for cubic objects, through form and materials, well emphasize the character of the place, and their program allows the space to function all year round. The compactness of the buildings also provides ample opportunities for the spatial organization of the functional program. In addition, the work proposes a rich utility program addressed to different groups of customers, and an orderly layout of the buildings with the proper location of commercial functions, which in the overall perception translates into a coherent and homogeneous vision of land development, offering users a space of high value. The work properly shapes the relationship with the environment, taking into account water retention and greenery development.
