Aleksandra Gordowy

Born in 1991, she is an architect, a graduate of engineering studies at the Technical University of
Gdansk University of Technology and a master's degree from the Technische Universiteit in Delft. She also studied in Stuttgart, Germany and Horsens, Denmark. In November 2017, she defended her master's project titled "The Good Banality and The Pleasureof Boredom. Redefinition of the domestic realm in the post-industrial city of Łódź," under the supervision of Prof.Dr. T.L.P. Avermaete, Dr. A.Pilav, ir. R. Nottrot and ir. J. van de Voort.
She is currently an architect at the architectural studio MLA+ in Berlin, an office specializing in broadly defined housing issues, fast-paced urbanization processes, and
research work in the context of the city.

Her literary debut is a book entitled "Everyday Boredom. Home as productive and unproductive space" published in 2020 by the Bęc Zmiana Foundation.
