Aleksandra Widłak

She studies architecture at the Cracow University of Technology. Architecture is her passion and way of looking at the world - she is always looking for a combination of functionality, aesthetics and emotion. She has had the opportunity to develop abroad: she participated in the Erasmus program at ITU University in Istanbul, did an internship in Rotterdam at the Groosman studio, and is currently gaining experience in Tokyo at an interior, design and architecture firm. She loves long trips of several weeks - but not in the touristy, cursory sense. She enjoys exploring countries "from the inside," from the perspective of the locals: observing daily rituals, testing customs and learning how cities, streets and communities really function. This gives her a deeper understanding of how architecture can support social life. Besides, she loves mountains and challenges - both sports and life.
