Towards a community. A reinterpretation of the Polish suburbs

Dominika Wcisło

She is currently finalizing her engineering studies at the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology and is defending her thesis in a few days.
She completed part of her study program in Copenhagen at KEA - Copenhagen School of Design and Technology, where she had the opportunity to work in an international environment and learn about the approach to architecture characteristic of the Nordic countries - functional, user-centered and sustainable. She gained additional experience during a six-month internship at a Copenhagen architectural firm, where she participated in working on projects in various stages of development.
Her interests revolve around sustainable and innovative design. She is interested in architecture that responds to the real needs of users, takes into account the context of the place and strives to balance the quality of the space with environmental responsibility. She pays special attention to human-friendly design that is functionally well thought out, but at the same time open to experimentation and contemporary technologies.
