Emilia Plichta

An architect who, after defending her diploma, decided to emigrate to Tirana, where she works in an international design office on concepts for large-scale residential and public buildings. She sees architecture as a tool for shaping the quality of life. A space that should not only be functional, but most importantly felt.
Growing up in close proximity to nature, both by the sea and in rural environments, shaped her sensitivity to the material, landscape and atmosphere of a place. Working in an international environment and collaborating with designers from different cultural contexts further broaden her perspective. Travel and contact with history and culture are important sources of design inspiration for her.
