Julia Olenkiewicz

I am a second-year student of Architecture of Cultural Spaces at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk and a multiple scholarship recipient for academic achievement. As part of the Erasmus+ program, I spent a semester at Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts.

My undergraduate degree, "Details of the Lower Town. A Public Archive of Traces," presented at the 2023 Gdynia Design Days, among other events, addressed the visual codes of neighborhoods and the relationship between architecture and artistic activities. The project was carried out in cooperation with the international program "reimagine your city".

I focus my interests on the relationship between space design and art - I am the author of, among other things, the arrangement of the exhibition "Let them sew! Contemporary Polish sculpture sewn" of the Polish Sculpture Center in Oronsko. I gained additional experience in the CENTRALA design group, among others.
