Karolina Sara Gardzilewicz

A small-town amateur of open space born in 92 in Olawa, near Wroclaw, on the border of a post-German village and a developing city. Here she lives and works in her own studio. She studied Interior Architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw and Fine Arts in Valencia, and received her master's degree in Ceramic Art and Design at her alma mater. She bases her activities on considering the tool - the potter's wheel - and the material - clay. Referring to the metaphysical qualities of vascular forms, she seeks relations between ceramic form and space - both architectural and native landscape. She has participated in national and international exhibitions presenting ceramic sculpture and design.
Ceramics Ambassador for 2020 selected in the European competition Future Lights in Ceramics 2020 organized by the Porzellanikon Foundation.
