Martyna Florek

She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology. In 2019, she defended her engineering thesis titled "Recreation and sports center with accommodation in the Jizera Mountains" done under the supervision of Dr. Grazyna Hryncewicz-Lamber. The diploma was nominated for the Diploma of the Year award of the Wroclaw branch of SARP. During her first degree, she also studied at the University of Malaga.

In 2021 she defended her master's thesis entitled "Urban food hub - metamorphosis of postindustrial area", done under the supervision of Dr. Tomasz Glowacki. The thesis won the grand prize in the Common Space is Value competition organized by the National Institute of Architecture and Urbanism and reached the finals of the Annual Polish-German Integration Award BDA-SARP 2022, it also won an honorable mention in the departmental Diploma of the Year competition and was nominated for the SARP 2022 Diploma of the Year award.
