Weronika Zając

I study architecture at Gdansk University of Technology, completing part of my studies on a student exchange in Croatia at the University of Split. I participate in architecture and urbanism workshops and events, such as OSSA, "Stop-Intergration" within the framework of the New Mobility Congress, as well as workshops within the scientific circle "Hulaj Urban Squad".

What fascinates me most about architecture is its diversity and undefined spaces, those on the margins of attention, often created from the bottom up and functioning "in between." I am interested in places that are strongly rooted in locality, such as city markets or port spaces, which live their own rhythm and create the identity of the city.

I am particularly close to the design of public buildings and urban planning. In the design process, the most important thing for me is to carefully understand the context and create a space that naturally fits into the daily life of the residents, becoming the frame of their lives, relationships and experiences.

Outside of architecture, I love running, sunsets, afternoons in the stables and lavender coffee.
