Since 1997, Concrete has consistently created projects that combine architecture, urban planning and interior design with a human-centered approach. Working with the Urby brand since 2010, the studio has given it a consistent architectural identity. The office's portfolio includes citizenM Hotels, Zoku Hotels, The BoTree Hotel in London, W Hotels in Osaka and Verbier, and the revitalization of the Manifattura Tabacchi in Florence.

All of these projects share a principle: form follows life, not the other way around. Journal Square Urby is one of the fullest embodiments of this philosophy, showing how a residential building can become a platform for creating community.
