One of the most important threads of the Sancho-Madridejos studio's work is the concept of the bend, developed from the level of theoretical assumptions to construction realizations, treated as tools for generating space.

Each project begins with a so-called base kink - a form that contains a kind of "DNA" of the future object. It is this that triggers the individual design process, giving it its own identity, language and unique spatial quality. The latter is particularly revealed in its relationship with the context: light, orientation and location. As a result, many of the studio's realizations are inextricably linked to a specific place or time, and their final shape sometimes results from the discovery of variables that only reveal themselves in the course of the work.

The creative process is not linear - each stage leaves a lasting mark and influences subsequent design decisions, giving Sancho-Madridejos' projects a dynamic and evolutionary character.
