Cities and municipalities invest in energy-efficient LED lighting

24 of July '21

Nearly 300 energy-efficient TIARA LED PRO road luminaires from Lena Lighting have been installed in the Warmian-Masurian province. 185 of them illuminate rural roads in the Szczytno municipality, using state-of-the-art technology. In turn, 92 of the same lamps went to the Municipal Thermal Power Company in Olsztyn.

The road lamps manufactured in Sroda Wielkopolska are eagerly chosen by cities and municipalities for their lighting parameters and energy efficiency. TIARA LED PRO luminaires are characterized not only by high tightness and durability. They also provide optimal color temperature and luminous flux ranging from 2700 lm to 20450lm. These lamps are equipped with the DALI protocol, a system used to control the lighting, as well as a motion and dusk sensor. All this makes them provide excellent, comfortable illumination for roads and outdoor spaces, and generate considerable electricity savings during operation. They also improve the level of road safety.

Increasingly, it is no longer the price alone, but the comprehensive parameters of road lamps that determine the choice of a product by cities and municipalities. Recently, they have been looking for energy-efficient light sources - a very positive trend that translates into the choice of LED luminaires. Local governments are thinking comprehensively, both about the cost of operation, the durability of the luminaires, the safety provided by good road lighting, but also about environmental issues," says Marcin Szewczyk, Sales Director for street and road luminaires from Lena Lighting.
