2027 Furniture Industry Diamond Award Competition

The 21st edition of the "Diament Meblarstwa" competition is currently underway. The competition recognizes the best products in the furniture and interior design industry in terms of design, technology, innovation, and functionality.

Purpose

The goal of the 2027 Furniture Diamond Competition is to select the best products in the furniture and interior design industry in terms of design, technology, innovation, and functionality—that were launched on the market after January 2025 or will enter production at the beginning of 2027. The award serves as recognition of originality and outstanding acclaim from experts.

Eligibility Criteria

Products (a single entry may include one product or an entire line; in total, a participant may submit no more than 15 products) may be entered in one of the following categories:

Furniture (living room furniture, upholstered furniture, chairs, tables, dining sets, bedroom furniture, kitchen furniture, wardrobes, sliding doors, built-in systems, bathroom furniture, mattresses, children’s and youth furniture, hallway furniture, outdoor furniture, etc.)
Fixtures and fittings (small and large household appliances, faucets, sinks, ceramic fixtures, shower enclosures, shower pans, showerheads, and other kitchen and bathroom fixtures; windows, floors, walls, ceilings, panels, doors, stairs, lamps, chandeliers, light sources, etc.)
Work (office chairs, furniture, and solutions used in office and public spaces, e.g., waiting rooms, conference rooms, hotels, banks, pharmacies, movie theaters, theaters, stores, shopping malls, cafes, etc.)
Components (panels, fronts, countertops, plywood, paper, films, laminates, veneers, edging, fabrics, upholstery leather, threads, fillers, frames, legs, chemicals, etc.)
Accessories (accessories and accessory systems, furniture lighting, handles, moldings, closet and wardrobe fittings, bed frames, and other structural bed components, etc.)
Open (products that, based on the subject of the submission, do not qualify for any of the listed categories)
Marketing (marketing activities and campaigns, catalogs, events, advertising designs and campaigns, meetings/training sessions, trade show booths, corporate videos, etc.)
Innovations (innovative solutions and technologies for the furniture industry, smart home, products that have not yet been manufactured and exist only as designs or ideas)
Young Design (a free category for projects submitted by students and graduates from last year and this year from high schools and universities)

The entry fee for the first product submitted to the competition is:
→ during the “The Earlier, the Cheaper” promotional period, which runs through July 31, 2026: 1,190 PLN + 23% VAT,
→ after the promotional period, i.e., from August 1 to September 28, 2026: 2,190 PLN + 23% VAT,
→ entries in the “Young Design” category are accepted free of charge.

If a participant submits six or more products, the sixth product and each subsequent one are accepted by the organizer free of charge.

Timeline

Competition entry deadline: by September 28, 2026
Notification of contest results to participants: October 15–16, 2026
Publication of results on the contest website: October 19, 2026
Online voting: October 19–26, 2026
Award ceremony: December 2026

Awards

Winners will receive the title “Furniture Diamond 2027” and promotional materials: a statuette, logo, competition catalog, etc.; Winners have the right to label their award-winning products with the “Furniture Diamond 2027” logo for promotional and advertising purposes.

Jury

The jury evaluating the submitted products consists of:
• architects, interior designers, designers, and trendsetters,
• media representatives, bloggers, organizations, scientists, and industry experts,
• retail representatives,
• production technologists, representatives of wholesalers, and representatives of certification and testing companies.
