HSK Forma is a new brand of designer lamps for residential interiors, hotels, restaurants, and gardens. It was created through a collaboration between the Kraków-based technical lighting manufacturer HSK Ledy and architects and designers. The HSK FORMA product catalog combines artistic design and architecture with modern LED technology. The brand’s fixtures are fully professional lighting tools featuring minimalist, eye-catching forms.
The most intriguing result of this marriage of LED technology and modern design is the NOVA family of fixtures. These ultra-flat light discs were designed by Tomasz A. Rudkiewicz, a designer who, under the name TAR design, has been creating lighting hits for decades. This time, he focused on optical fibers combined with custom LED modules and premium materials such as steel and smoked glass. The goal was to create pendant lights for a low-ceilinged interior that would draw attention away from the ceiling, which is overloaded with installations, and fit into the slightly modernist style of the entire project. The result is stunning: the subtle gradient of light and the minimalist form of the NOVA lamps are winning over architects’ hearts, as perfectly exemplified by the interior of the Entre restaurant in Wrocław.

Following their debut in 2025, the NOVA fixtures gained recognition in the Polish design world. Their refined design, combined with an innovative optical system, was awarded the Good Design mark in the 32nd edition of the competition organized by the Polish Institute of Industrial Design.

HSK FORMA also offers the L68 series of outdoor lamps, created by Danish industrial designer Lars Vejen. The L68 family is characterized by a light, minimalist aesthetic typical of Scandinavian design. The fixtures—mushroom-shaped in black or Corten steel—can be installed as posts, streetlights, and wall sconces. The light emitted by the L68 fixtures will be appreciated by designers of gardens and outdoor public spaces: the warm, steady light is directed exclusively downward, in full compliance with the Dark Sky Directive, which combats so-called light pollution—the contamination of the night sky with unnecessary light.

The LED modules and optical systems of HSK FORMA luminaires are developed from the ground up by engineers with many years of experience in lighting design and manufacturing. Each model is then tested in various configurations at the company’s photometric laboratory in Kraków. Thanks to this, HSK continuously creates and publishes photometric files for DiaLux and ReLux software. This makes it possible to very accurately plan and calculate not only how the luminaires will look in an interior, but above all, how and how much light they will emit depending on their location.

HSK FORMA lighting is manufactured in small batches, entirely in Poland. This allows for full customization of the fixtures: from purely technical aspects—such as power supply, control systems, and color temperatures—through non-standard mounting solutions, all the way to finishes, including colors, textures, and a wide variety of power cords.
