The conference "Culture of Values. On credible intersectoral cooperation"

11 of March '22

Already on March 14, Krakow will host a unique conference titled "Culture of Values. On credible cross-sector cooperation" organized by Open Eyes Economy.

It's time to look at culture from the other side. Not to think about how to transform culture into economy, but vice versa - how to make economy a part of culture," wrote Professor Jerzy Hausner in the publication "How much is culture worth?"

The conference will focus on the issue of cooperation between various sectors of social life - public, private and community. The meeting will also provide an opportunity to present innovative projects carried out in Malopolska, particularly those that implemented elements of cooperation on the business-scienceline. The organizers also want to touch on the topic related to non-governmental organizations, which, in addition to their social activities, also carry out economic activities, cooperating in them with universities and businesses and the local community.

Among the speakers invited to the conference are: Stanisław Mazur (Rector of the Cracow University of Economics), Anita Antosz (AMS), Michał Madura (EDISINDA), Michał Badura (Skillspace), Alicja Kowalik (Parsley Market Foundation) or Dominika Walec (#OMGKRK Support Foundation).

What is the role of cultural institutions in shaping social trust? How to strengthen this role? An important point of the conference will be a conversation between Professor Jerzy Hausner and Krzysztof Głuchowski, Director of the Juliusz Słowacki Theater in Krakow, on the role of a reliable cultural institution in shaping social trust. Also, in the context of events concerning Krakow's culture and attempts to subjugate it. The institution of the Słowacki Theater is a partner institution of Architektura & Biznes magazine .

The event will take place on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The conference will be held at a unique venue, the Juliusz Słowacki Theater in Krakow. Admission to the event is free, but registration is required in advance.
