SARP Rzeszow Branch

"President of the branch in the 2019-2023 term: Piotr Rzeźwicki
The Rzeszow branch of SARP is part of the nationwide Association of Polish Architects - an organization of architects who wish to promote architecture, who are interested in the highest standards of the architectural profession, as well as in acting for the benefit of the surrounding space. The SARP Rzeszow Branch is a place that has been integrating the architectural community and those interested in architecture and urban planning for years.

The Association of Polish Architects has a tradition of more than 135 years. Its origins date back to the initiative of the builders and engineers who formed the Krakow Technical Society (from 1877) and the subsequent activity of architects within the Warsaw Society for the Promotion of Trade and Industry (from 1899). The continuation of these efforts became the independent Delegation of Polish Architects formed in 1908 after the International Congress of Architects in Vienna.

The basis of SARP's activities is the association's statute, which defines its goals, as well as its method of organization. Among the most important tasks of SARP are: caring for the quality of architecture and the environment, creating conditions for the development of architectural creativity and its protection, developing the workshop and the profession of architecture.

The SARP pursues these goals, among others, through public speaking on issues concerning space, architectural education or the organization of architectural competitions based on transparent procedures."
