Modern interiors - both private and commercial - are placing increasing demands on designers. We expect not only aesthetics, but also functionality, which has a real impact on the comfort of the space. One of the key elements, often underestimated at the design stage, is acoustics. It determines whether a room is conducive to work, rest, communication or sound reception. DPS Group, with its advanced FONOSORBER® acoustic systems, offers solutions that combine the highest quality sound absorption with modern design.

Acoustic ceilings - quick and effective improvement of acoustics
DPS acoustic ce ilings are one of the easiest ways to improve sound conditions in a room. In addition to their high reverberation absorption efficiency, they are distinguished by a number of functional advantages: they are lightweight, provide additional thermal insulation, and their form can be freely personalized. DPS membranes can be backlit, printed with graphics, and even made in a mirrored version, which opens up enormous design possibilities for designers. This makes the ceiling not only a technical element, but also a decorative one.

Acoustic walls - ideal for spaces requiring precise sound control
DPS acoustic walls are used in spaces where control of sound reflections is crucial: recording studios, movie theaters, home media centers or lecture halls. When combined with Trendero textiles, they create systems that effectively reduce reverberation while providing an elegant interior finishing touch. Trendero fabrics are available in a variety of colors and textures, allowing them to harmoniously match the character of the room.

Small- and large-format baffles - precise action where it's needed
Acoustic panels in the form of small- and large-format baffles allow for pinpoint improvement of acoustics in selected areas of the room. They can be installed above a workstation, in a relaxation area, in meeting spaces or wherever local reverberation reduction is needed. These systems can be used individually or made into larger compositions, mounted on various surfaces - walls, ceilings and even free-standing elements.
DPS acoustic systems - four examples of effective solutions
Below are four examples of acoustic layouts used in DPS systems that have been tested for sound absorption efficiency.
DPS-coated acoustic layout with Ø 0.15 mm microperforated membrane and 80 mm mineral wool.
This system combines a perforated DPS membrane with Ø 0.15 mm microperforations with a layer of mineral wool with a density of 37 kg/m³ and a thickness of 80 mm.

The microperforation is responsible for absorbing high frequencies, while the mineral wool effectively attenuates mid and low bands. As a result, the system provides a very broad spectrum of performance and is ideal for rooms where comprehensive reverberation reduction is required - such as conference rooms, offices and educational spaces.
DPS double-coated system with Ø 0.15 mm microperforation
This solution uses two DPS microperforated membranes with an air void between them.

This design acts as an acoustic resonator, significantly increasing sound absorption efficiency in the mid-frequency range. This layout is particularly recommended for spaces that require precise acoustic control - recording studios, listening rooms or multimedia rooms, where both sound quality and aesthetics of finish matter.
Layout with Trendero TR085 / TR086 textile material and 40 mm mineral wool.
An arrangement based on Trendero TR085 Classic Voice or TR086 Dark Voice textile materials combined with 40 mm mineral wool is a solution that combines high acoustic efficiency with an elegant appearance.

Trendero fabrics are designed for sound absorption, and their structure promotes reverberation reduction. The system is perfect for offices, hotels, restaurants and other spaces where both acoustic comfort and aesthetics are important.
System with DPS Mirror panel and sound absorber behind the diaphragm
This solution combines the striking appearance of the DPS Mirror panel with the functionality of a hidden acoustic absorber.

The reflective membrane has a decorative function, optically enlarging the space, while the absorber behind it effectively reduces reverberation. This arrangement is ideal for interiors where both acoustics and a spectacular visual effect are important - for example, in hotel lobbies, event halls or modern offices.
