Around the campfire. Project of rest houses on the Latvian river

Klaudia Kochanowska

I am a student of the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology since 2020 and a graduate of the Mikołaj Kopernik High School in Grajewo. Ahead of me is a student exchange at Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena in Spain. In 2022, I participated in the workshops and creation of the exhibition SKRAJOBRAZ organized by the Warsaw Architecture Pavilion ZODIAK, where in a group led by Dr. Tomasz Trzupek, we analyzed the structure of Świdermajers and the context they created.

The Caramel Shore Traveller Rooms project (co-created with Aleksandra Adamska, Zofia Gancarczyk and Aleksandra Musiał) was an extremely valuable experience, where as young designers and we saw how each of us forms a team and what we as individuals can bring to the design process.

In my projects, I try to learn about the dependencies and conditions of the way users move through an object - this seems to me to be an interesting issue on the basis of which shapes and arrangements of solids can be defined.
