Michał Kołodziej

He is originally from Tarnobrzeg in the Subcarpathian region of Poland. He graduated from the Cracow University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture, with a master's degree in September 2020. He also studied at Politecnico di Milano in Italy. Outside of his studies, he was involved in student competitions and workshops, and was the organizer of the OSSA 2020 Experiment workshop in Krakow, where he had the opportunity to work with the tutoring group Gaja Bieniasz + Marcin Kwietowicz as the group's supervisor. He is the author and co-author of award-winning projects in national and international competitions, including: special award in the national architectural competition Opole Bauhaus - creative inspirations (2019), honorable mention in the international architectural and urban planning competition for the design of the Wyspiański Museum, Krakow (cooperation with Cavu Architekci, SARP competition 2019), 2nd prize in thenational architectural realization competition for the form of commemoration of the 700th anniversary of the location of Kamień (SARP competition, 2019), honorable mention in the international 2019 CAAJ Student Competition - The Modern Police Station (teamwork, 2019), honorable mention 1st st. in the competition for the SARP Krakow Creative Scholarship named after Prof. Bohdan Lisowski (2019), finalist in the international competition NONARCHITECTURE COMPETITIONS Thinking Alternative Designs for Offices (team work 2018), 2nd prize in the XII All-Poland Plenary Workshop of Architecture Students in Chelmno (2016). In October 2020, he started working at BBGK Architects in Warsaw, where he is developing his professional experience.
