Monika Makowska

Interior designer, master's student of Interior Design at the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. In her work she focuses on designing residential and public interiors, with a particular emphasis on ergonomics and creating spaces that meet the real needs of users. She is interested in human-centered design, combining aesthetics with functionality and comfort of everyday use.

As part of her thesis, she developed a concept for a wellness venue in Warsaw, including massage rooms and a yoga room, creating a cohesive space conducive to tranquility and regeneration. She has won design competitions, including a concept for display boxes for the Końskie brand, which specializes in ceramic products.

Her area of interest also includes public spaces - including park projects in Uniejów. She has participated in numerous exhibitions organized by the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. During her studies, she realized projects for courtyards of Lodz tenements and concepts for light installations prepared as part of the Light Move Festival in Lodz.

She develops skills in 3D modeling, creating visualizations and graphic presentation of projects, treating digital tools as an integral part of the design process.
