Merapi Architects

Merapi Architects is an in-house architectural studio dedicated to the comprehensive development of interior design projects. They create with passion in the spirit of minimalism, from the general to the detail. The architects at Merapi Architects listen carefully to the client and try to customize the space to their individual needs. The studios are characterized by accuracy and full commitment to each order, so that the projects are fully functional and unique.


The founder of Merapi Architects is Katarzyna Olbinska-Tarnowska. An architect, she graduated from the Architecture and Urban Planning Department of the Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Lodz. She did part of her studies in Italy at the University of Bologna.

Thanks to her professional experience gained since 2007 in reputable studios in Lodz, she has developed a style and way of working that allows the creation and implementation of unique and functional projects in which the client will feel comfortable and at ease.
