Nizio Design International

Miroslaw Nizio

studied at the Department of Interior Architecture and Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, majoring in Interior Design. He started his own design business in the 1990s in New York, where he won a number of awards and honors, including: Glenn Boyles Memorial Rendering And Design (in 1993), Educational Foundation for the Design Industries in Interior Design (in 1998).

He is an architect known mainly for his designs of public spaces: museums, historical expositions, exhibitions, memorials, scenography. He co-created and realized the main exhibition of the Warsaw Uprising Museum, which is the most visited cultural institution in Poland and for his work on which, in July 2006, he received the Golden Cross of Merit. For his contribution to the creation of the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, Miroslaw Nizio was awarded the Bronze Medal "Meritorious to Culture Gloria Artis" in 2015.

Active in the American and Polish markets, Miroslaw Nizio has developed dozens of projects for architecture, interior design, permanent and temporary exhibitions, revitalization, recreational facilities, offices and private residences.

Nizio Design International

In 2002, Miroslaw Nizio opened the Nizio Design International studio in Warsaw's Praga district. The company has many years of experience in the preparation of architectural, revitalization and display projects and their comprehensive implementation.

The teams of architects gathered around the studio deal with the realization of the most important spaces for culture in the country, providing a comprehensive service - from social research, analysis, through the development of the concept, preparation of the detailed design, to author supervision and implementation. Specialists in the fields of culture, science and art are invited to collaborate on the developed projects.
