descriptionThe 19th edition of the Society of Polish Town Planners' competition for the best developed public space in Poland has been resolved. Its goal is to shape the modern image of the country by promoting the best urban planning and architectural projects, maintained at a high level of quality and referring to current world standards in this field.

- Dariusz Brzozowski - Member of the Main Board (o/Lublin)
- Małgorzata Bartyna-Zielińska - Member of the Main Board (o/Wrocław)
- Piotr Gibas - President of the Silesian Branch of TUP
- Maria Oleszczuk - President of the Opole Branch of TUP
- Monika Gołąb-Korzeniowska - Member of the TUP Krakow Branch
- Prof. Katarzyna Ujma-Wąsowicz - Member of the Silesian Branch of TUP
- Prof. Lukasz Mikula - President of the Poznan Branch of TUP
- Ewa Pawłowska - President of the Board of the Association of Friends of Integration
- Maciej Kuryłowicz - Vice President of the Association of Architects of the Republic of Poland
- Andrzej Porawski - Director of the Office of the Association of Polish Cities
- Patrycja Sadowska-Słabek - representative of the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, Department of Urban Policy
out of 55 public spaces qualified for the second stage of the competition, selected 15, to which it awarded 8 honorary TUP awards and 7 honorary distinctions in four categories.
In the category of Revitalized Urban Public Space, the 1st Prize went to Schiller Passage in Lodz (proj.: PALMETT Design Office), the 2nd Prize was awarded to Biskupia Gorska in Gdansk (PROINWESTA Pracownia projektowa Anna Waniewska). Honorable mentions were given to: Downtown section of Wojska Polskiego Avenue and Zwycięstwa Square in Szczecin (proj.: ARCHAID Pracownia Architektoniczna Jacek Szewczyk) and Baczyńskiego Square in Tychy (proj.: Tecla).
In the category of Revitalized Public Space in Greenery, 1st Prize went to Staromiejski Park in Łódź (proj.: 3DARCHITEKCI WIZJĄ, PM Projekt), and 2nd Prize went to Water Playground in Jaworek Park in Tychy (proj.: RS+ Robert Skitek). Honorable mentions were awarded to: Planty - a historic park in Kędzierzyn-Koźle (proj.: Firma Projektowo-Wykonawcza "4MAT" Janusz Białecki), Park in Tworkow in the municipality of Krzyżanowice (proj.: Hubert Kwaśnica) and A string of green areas along the Pisa Gągolina River in Zyrardow (proj.: STUDIUM, Green Street).
In the Newly Created Public Space in Greenery category, the 1st Prize went to Błonia in Niepołomice (proj.: LS-Project), and Honorable Mentions to: Park Wantuły in Katowice (proj.: Franta & Franta Architekci) and Park nad Moszczenica in Strykow (proj.: 44STO).
In the Public Space of Communication category, the 1st Prize went to Chmielna Street and parts of Bracka Street in Warsaw (proj.: RS Architektura Krajobrazu). Two 2nd Prizes were also awarded, they were given to Slowackiego Street in Poznan (proj.: Municipal Roads Administration in Poznan, Andrzej Billert, APAK Turniak Przemyslaw, Foundation for the Protection of Knowledge) and Malachowskiego Street in Sosnowiec (proj.: MERiTUM PROJEKT Marek Myrcik).
