How to arrange plants in the apartment? With the answer rushes the brand Bujnie!

21 of May '20

If you want to avoid an untamed jungle at home and plants overgrowing the passage to the room, flowerbeds are the perfect solution. Although the word itself may not conjure up a good feeling for you right now, it will certainly start as soon as you get to know Bujnie. Thanks to these inconspicuous stands and "hangers" for plants, your green space will change beyond recognition!

Bujnie is a Polish company that was born out of love for plants. Iza and Szymon combined their strengths and passions - architecture and craftsmanship. Bujnie's floral design, however, is not about creating unusual structures - it is the plant that remains the focus. Flowers coming out of the "lush" manufactory are characterized by simple design and precise workmanship. The goal of Iza and Simon of {tag:Manufacturer} is to restore plants to their rightful place in human life. Not only in homes, but also in public spaces - offices or various types of service showrooms. The M:OD flowerbed designed by Kosmos Project was awarded in the MUST HAVE poll of the Łódź Design Festival.

Basia Hyjek: How was your idea for Bujnie born?
Szymon Serej: Bujnie was born out of a great need to commune with nature on a daily basis. About 5 years ago we started filling our house with plants, in a way losing our common sense (biophiles will understand). Plants even poured out the windows, occupying windowsills and floors. Finally, we decided to bring this wonderful green chaos under control and organize a bit, trying to stock up on flowerbeds. Unfortunately, to our surprise, there were no flowerbeds on the market that we could in good conscience and without a shadow of embarrassment insert into our interior.

That's when the idea was born to share the love of plants with people and help them organize this greenery in interiors. Iza, as an architect, designed the first collections, and I, together with my grandfather, who had a locksmith shop, created the first prototypes. After 4 years, it turned out that our designs and the quality of our products, combined with the explosion of people's love for plants, made us a leading brand in this market. We are trendsetters, and our manufactory produces hundreds of flowerbeds a month that help green the world!

Basia: Where do you get your inspiration from?
Szymon: It's hard to answer this question unequivocally. I think it's the sum of the experiences we've gathered over the years. Izabella is an architect and landscape architect by profession. Designing is her daily bread. When it comes to inspiration, we usually look for it in our travels, during which we suck in the surrounding reality and culture like a dry sponge would water. In turn, after returning, we look through photos and write down ideas. Our biggest priority is functionality and that the solution we propose is not yet on the market. Therefore, with a clear conscience we sign all projects with our logo!

Basia: Please tell us about the product - what is it made of , what is the process like?
Szymon: We specialize in metalworking and all our products are also made from this material. We have a small manufactory in Silesia, where we create our products from start to finish with local craftsmen. In addition to manufacturing flowerbeds and furniture, we also cooperate with architects, realizing their original visions.

Basia: Do you have many plants at home yourself?
Simon: Yes. In our current apartment we have about 70 of them.
