"10 Questions to..." is a series of short interviews with architects and female architects, to whom we address the same pool of questions. In today's installment of the mini-interview, architecture in three words was described by Magdalena Morelewska of STOPROCENT Architects.

Magdalena Morelewska - a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology. She gained professional experience at Estudio Lamela, working on large projects such as Chopin Airport in Warsaw, Cracovia Stadium and the municipal stadium in Lublin. She is co-founder and lead architect of the Warsaw-based studio STOPROCENT Architects.

1. architecture in three words...?

a. Form.
b. Function.
c. Detail.

2. the three most important buildings for you...?

a. Casa del Fascio in Como (Giuseppe Terragni) - timelessness of geometry, proportion and detail.
b. Residential building on Forsterstrasse in Zurich (Christian Kerez) - purity of form and projection in a residential building.
c. National Museum in Warsaw (Tadeusz Tolwinski) - one of Warsaw's favorite buildings, a form that conveys the dignity of the Institution.

3. the most important book about architecture...?

"Thinking Architecture" (Peter Zumthor) and Technical Terms.

4. most inspiring city and why...?

Berlin - because of the dynamic and ongoing political, economic and cultural transformation of the city, because of the stylistic mix, for the presence of a rich history in the structures of the city, for the trail of modern architecture, for the bar and restaurant offerings.

5. architect with whom you would like to design something and why...?

Bjarke Ingels - how does the boldness and purity of conceptual ideas translate into realizations?

6. hand drawing or computer drawing?

Definitely both.

7. mockup or 3D model?

3D model - for saving time and ease of revisions.

8. modernism or postmodernism?

Modernism.

9. Work after hours or sports?

After work I rush to the children.

10. architecture or business?

We dream of BUSINESS, but ARCHITECTURE always comes out.
