"Pioneers" - meeting with Grazyna Hryncewicz-Lamber at the Mountain Literature Festival

The 6th Edition of the 2020 Mountains of Literature Festival is underway as of July 10, a series of intimate meetings with literature, bringing together writers and critics in unique natural settings to discuss new releases and more. The festival is curated by Olga Tokarczuk.

This Friday, Grazyna Hryncewicz-Lamber - author of the essay on Teresa Chmura-Pełech, which is included in the book "Pioneers" - will be the guest of the 6th edition of the 2020 Literature Mountain Festival . The meeting will be held on July 17 at 5:30 pm in Wlodowice, Pod Wiatami. It will be conducted by Karol Maliszewski.

"Pioneers" is the sixth volume of the series "Architecture is the most important". The book is a collection of essays by Hanna Faryna-Paszkiewicz, Grażyna Hryncewicz-Lamber, Marta Leśniakowska, Joanna Majczyk, Małgorzata Omilanowska, Grzegorz Piątek and Agnieszka Tomaszewicz.

"Pioneers" is a response to the wishes of readers of the series "Architecture is most important". After the release of the second volume of the series, titled "Architektki," the EMG publishing house was met with many voices encouraging the continuation of the topic of women's participation in the creation of Polish architectural culture. "Pioneer Women" is a collection of essays about the pioneers of urban planning and architecture in modern Poland. About women forgotten in these fields, although they contributed to their development: Anna Ptaszycka, Wanda Krahelska, Wanda Melcer, Gizella Marguliesówna and Teresa Chmura-Pełech.

The series is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Tomasz Mańkowski, an architect who died in 2012.
