Iga Janicka

Interior designer, second degree student of Interior Design at the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. Graduate of undergraduate studies in the same field.
She specializes in the design of public spaces of a social nature - cultural, educational and related to social welfare. She treats architecture as a form of social activism, focusing on the relationship between humans and space and how it affects the well-being and sense of agency of its users. Her projects explore how architecture can serve people - especially those who need support the most.
As part of her bachelor's thesis, she designed the interiors of the Support Center for Women in Crisis at the Lucień Center in Miałkowek - a space of safety and support for people in distress. Involved in charitable activities, she created a pro bono concept of premises for the Foundation for Helping Leukemia Patients in Lodz, combining modern spatial solutions with symbolism alluding to the foundation's mission and the characteristic Lodz manufaktur architecture.
He actively participates in industry events devoted to social architecture.
