OPUS Architecture is an architectural firm based in Helsinki, founded in 2017 by Paul Thynell, Matias Kotilainen, and Tuomas Martinsaari. The firm specializes in building design and urban planning, with a particular focus on the sustainability of architecture, the flexibility of space, and its relationship with the existing environment. In its projects, the firm combines solutions that allow for future changes in function with elements that give a place its own unique character. OPUS is a member of the Association of Finnish Architects’ Offices (ATL), and its founders are also involved in teaching at Aalto University.
