SMAR Architecture Studio

SMAR Architecture Studio is an award-winning architecture studio specializing in art museum design, founded in 2011 by Fernando Jerez and Belén Pérez de Juan. With offices and partnerships operating in Australia and Europe, the studio has won more than 20 international awards over the past decade - including the design of the Urban Confluence tower in Silicon Valley (2021) and the Science Island Museum, which was completed in 2023.

SMAR's work focuses on the intersection of science and art. The studio's projects have been widely exhibited and published on four continents - Asia, Australia, Europe and America - by institutions such as AIA New York, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and the Kunsthalle in Helsinki.
