Competition for the development of the right bank of the Vistula River in Toruń

16 of January '20

In yesterday's "Coffee Break," we wrote about projects and developments designed to connect the city with water. One of the concepts presented was Toruń's Philadelphia Boulevard, which is to be rebuilt according to a design by architects from the Riegler Riewe studio. However, this is not the end of the changes that will take place on the right bank of the Vistula River in Toruń! The Municipality of the City of Toruń, in cooperation with the Toruń branch of SARP, has announced a one-stage, idea-and-conceptcompetition for the development of the riverside area from the Marina Toruń to the Timber Port.
We encourage you to participate!

The purpose of the competition is to find the best possible functional-spatialsolution for the area stretching from the yacht marina at the end of the boulevard, to the western border of the city, to propose in this area friendly and attractive spaces with a specific purpose for residents and visitors, and to connect the whole with a recreational and educationalpath.
