Registration is underway for the 5th International Creative Design Plus Congress, which is scheduled for Thursday, October 15 ( online) and Friday, October 16 at INKU Szczecin Cultural Incubator. This year's conference will focus on the topics of tourism service design and the relationship between the creative sector and tourism.
The traditional leisure model (3xs: sun, sea, sand) is slowly being replaced by innovative and more creative solutions, such as smart tourism, quests, creative trails, themed villages and settlements, culinary tra ils or sustainable or gamified tourism.
Tourism is an important element in creating a vibrant creative sector. Out-of-the-box thinking can help maintain or create a completely new, unique character for a place of activity for which there is insufficient local demand. Creativity opens a testing ground for checking the viability of local products in national and international markets. Innovation can be the right way to introduce a unique offer to new markets that will quickly absorb it, providing much satisfaction to producers and customers at the same time, the organizers of the Design Plus congress write.
Thecreative sector and its role in tourism at the 5th International Creative Congress Design Plus will be discussed by invited guests, including design expert Achim Hack from the University of Wismar, Malgorzata andKamil Kowalewicz - creators of the blog RobiMy Podróże, traveler Marek Kramarczyk, Dr. Piotr Gutowski assistant professor at the Faculty of Finance, Economics and Management at the University of Szczecin, Anna and Marcin Nowak - creators of the blog Wandering Butterflies, and Dr. Magdalena Małachowska from the Academy of Art in Szczecin.
