02 of February '24

"10 Questions for Landscape Architects" is a series of short talks inspired by the series "10 Questions for...". This time our attention is turned to landscape architects and architects. In today's episode, landscape architect Maciej Widomski (Harmony Architecture) talks about his approach to design.

Maciej Widomski about himself: In 2018 I graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Agriculture in Krakow. Immediately after graduation I was involved in the creation of a large landscape study for the municipality of Walbrzych. In the so-called meantime, I designed stores all over Poland for the clothing company 4F. During the three years of running my own business, I designed about eighty private and business spaces in different parts of the country having the pleasure of personally supervising the realization of several of them working with experienced contractors. My original design style is based on free-form lines combined with Far Eastern aesthetics and minimalist form. I call it LIQUID. I draw inspiration for my creations directly from the natural world, since all observed creations of human hands, even the most beautiful ones bear the mark of personal filters. In my free time I create music, play sports and try to travel whenever possible.
