Thermomodernization saves energy and protects the environment
For the past 3 years, Termo Organika, together with Omena Mensah, a long-time brand ambassador, and the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, have been running a social campaign called "Thermomodernization is the best way to smog". The problem of smog is a huge threat to each of us. Among other things, thanks to the joint campaign, more and more people are aware that uninsulated or very poorly insulated buildings are among the biggest polluters of the environment. They use too much energy for heating, which is most often generated by burning mediocre quality fuel in inefficient boilers. The information and education campaign aims to popularize the idea of thermal modernization as one of the best and easiest ways to reduce smog. It is an investment first and foremost in our health, but also in the health of future generations.
Most people associate home insulation with thermal comfort and lower heating bills, and these are very good associations! It is these tangible benefits that the homeowner will actually feel "immediately". Unfortunately, there is still no awareness in the public that comprehensive thermo-modernization allows the greatest reduction in emissions of hazardous substances by as much as 95% for dust, 98% for carcinogenic benzo(a)pyrene, 80% for sulfur dioxide, 43% for nitrogen oxides or, finally, by 72% for carbon dioxide," says Krzysztof Krzemień, Termo Organika's technical director. Termo Organika will organize a number of educational contests. Among those planned is a contest on knowledge of energy efficiency in the automotive industry, as well as in the construction industry. Joint activities related to the Safe Driving Academy are also planned. The Safe Driving Academy has a fantastic Driveland tertiary driving technique improvement center. With a very modern and impressive infrastructure, instructors teach drivers how to control the car, how to be an informed and safe driver, and, very spectacularly, there is the possibility to simulate very difficult, even extreme situations on the road thanks to skid plates, a tugger to put cars into oversteer and water curtains to simulate obstacles.
