We have been waiting for this moment for two years! The next, seventeenth edition of the International Architecture Biennale in Krakow has launched! This year's theme is "Recover," or reclaiming, seen in the context of the city. You can still register for the event, come to the ICE Congress Center in Krakow, or watch it online. Participation is free!
The MBA is hosted by the City of Krakow, and is organized jointly with the SARP Krakow Branch: Faculty of Architecture of the Tadeusz Kosciuszko Cracow University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts of the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Cracow Academy, Małopolska Regional Chamber of Architects of Poland, Architecture & Business and National Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Marshal of the Malopolska Region.
And what awaits you at the Biennale, which lasts two days? Four main panels: Urban Roundtable, Discovering Rivers, Resilient City in Transformation, Social Architecture and many accompanying events (be sure to check out the speed dating!). You can find the full program on the MBA website.
