We present another video in our series of short talks by architects, urban planners, scientists, politicians, activists and people associated with architecture and its related fields, "#Video Talks about the City." This time, we present conversations conducted during the Open Eyes Economy Summit 2022 congress at the ICE Krakow Congress Center. The theme of this year's edition was credibility.

Question:

How to talk about climate change?

Answer:

Prof. Krystyna Solarek - architect, urban planner, scientist and university teacher - combines scientific research at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology with her work in urban planning and planning. She heads the Department of Urbanism and Spatial Planning at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology; she is also Vice-Dean of the Faculty for Science and Development and Chair of the Scientific Council of the Architecture and Urban Planning Discipline of the Warsaw University of Technology. She works on various aspects of modern city development, including issues of urban greenery and urban water management. She is a member of the Architecture and Urban Planning Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Society of Polish Urban Planners, the National Commission for Environmental Impact Assessment (2011-2018), many scientific committees and expert teams, competition committees.
