A new standard for drywall construction
A key differentiator of GypSerra profiles is the patented herringbone fluting pattern (patent no. 201741018271), which increases rigidity and bending resistance - up to 26% more than classic CD60 profiles. Confirmed by tests of the Building Research Institute, the strength properties allow the realization of walls as high as 11 meters and allowable surface load of up to 60 kg/m². In addition, constructions made with GypSerra meet the requirements for fire resistance (up to 120 minutes), acoustics and statics, which makes them safe for use in both residential and commercial construction.

Freedom of design on a large scale
The new generation of profiles has also been designed for intensively used spaces such as halls, shopping malls, office buildings and public buildings. The use of Rigips GypSerra increases the load-bearing capacity of ceilings by 10%, deflection resistance for walls by 5%, and up to 20% for ceilings. Torsion resistance increases by up to 30%, which significantly improves the stability of the entire system and translates into comfort on the construction site. The profiles are fully compatible with existing Rigips drywall systems, which eliminates the need for changes in design documentation.

Organic coating - durability and safety
The exceptional properties of Rigips GypSerra profiles are also due to the use of an innovative organic coating, which provides twice the weather resistance and up to 30% higher resistance to oxidation than traditional passivation coatings. It is thanks to this that Rigips is the first manufacturer to allow GypSerra profiles to be stored outdoors for up to 6 months - without the risk of red corrosion. Such a high durability significantly simplifies logistics on the construction site and gives greater realization freedom to contractors and investors.
The organic coating does not contain harmful chromium and can support obtaining points in environmental certification systems such as LEED or BREEAM (depending on the project and scope of application). This is an expression of concern for the health and safety of contractors, as well as a real contribution to the development of sustainable construction.
