Energetic city regeneration
The energy crisis is currently one of the most important challenges to overcome. We've been writing a lot lately about crises of all kinds—economic, related to the war in Ukraine, raw materials, values - but it's hard not to notice them when they are an active part of our reality.
Energetic city regeneration is the theme of this issue. It is an attempt to provide a diagnosis—we wonder how this process is taking place and what the prescription for urban recovery might be. These ways, which are ready to be implemented, are quite numerous. Some of them require only a change in attitude and mindset, others require a change in technology. This process is multi-faceted and there are no illusions - change is necessary.
Energy regeneration of cities is also an international congress (May 30-31 this year in Lodz EC1), registration at: regeneracjamiast.pl. We invite all interested parties to follow the debates and discussions online or stationary, and to read the issue. The issue was produced in cooperation with Open Eyes Economy, the organizer of the Łódź conference.
