At EMT-Systems’ new headquarters, modern acoustic solutions have been combined with an innovative approach to the installation process. The project has become an example of how digital technologies can streamline the implementation of even the most demanding suspended ceiling projects.

The Challenge: Speed and Precision on a Large Scale

A large number of Ecophon Solo Rectangle and Ecophon Solo Circle panels were planned for installation in the office and training spaces. Given the scale of the project, the significant ceiling heights, and the tight schedule, it was crucial to ensure maximum precision while reducing installation time.

That is why the Ecophon Laser Projection Service, based on LYX laser projection technology, was utilized. Instead of traditional marking and manually determining installation points, the digital project model was directly projected into the building’s space using laser projection. This provided the installation team with immediate and extremely accurate guidelines for panel placement.

Laser Projection to Support Installation

The use of laser technology significantly streamlined the installation of suspended ceilings. It helped minimize the risk of measurement errors, speed up the work, and ensure full compliance with the design specifications. An additional benefit was the ability to identify potential conflicts with building services early on, even before installation began. This resulted in fewer corrections, more efficient work organization, and better control over the project schedule.

Technology That Transforms Project Execution

This project demonstrates that modern acoustic ceilings are not just about aesthetics and user comfort. The method of installation is also becoming increasingly important. Technologies such as LYX laser projection support contractors at every stage of the project, enabling faster, more accurate, and more predictable work.

LUMI Design was responsible for the interior design, DiG Sowińscy Architekci handled the architectural design, and Adamietz served as the general contractor. The result of this collaboration is a modern space where innovation is evident both in the finished interior and in the very process of its creation.
