Aluron - world premieres at BAU 2025 trade fair

21 of January '25

Last Friday, January 17, 2025 saw the conclusion of one of the most important international events in the woodwork industry - the BAU 2025 trade fair. The event, which brings together exhibitors and visitors from around the world, could not miss the leading suppliers from Poland, including Aluron. On an area of nearly 110 square meters, the Zawiercie-based system provider presented some of the product premieres planned for this year, among which were pivot doors, two proposals for lift-and-slide doors, a slender window solution based on a facade system, and a hybrid panel door with a flush leaf and all-glass fanlight.

In designing our booth, we focused on openness and transparency. These are qualities that also guide us in our relations with customers. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for visitors to access our space. For this reason, we clearly divided our space into two parts: an exhibition area, where you could get acquainted with our this year's proposals, and another one for casual conversations with representatives of visiting companies. We wanted to maximize the comfort of our guests. Transparency also guided us in the use of insulated glass in the pivot doors presented at BAU. Even the most extravagant, visitor-attracting door panel would have obscured the clou of our doors - the AS 100 Pivot system, refined to the last detail by Aluron's designers. It was its design advantages that we wanted to present to our visitors," says Magdalena Respondek-Ambroży, Marketing and PR Manager at Aluron.

Modern technologies in the service of sustainable construction

At Aluron's booth, located in the very center of Hall B1, one could find impressive constructions that fit not only into the key theme of the BAU 2025 fair, but also into contemporary architectural trends. These focus on reducing visible aluminum in favor of increasing glass surfaces. Aluron's first proposal was the aforementioned offset pivot door based on the AS 100 Pivot system. The door features anti-bimetallic split thermal dividers, a descending threshold with LED backlighting and fingerprint reader and tablet control. What's more, Pivot from Aluron is a rebate-free solution with a symmetrical profile design, which facilitates prefabrication and installation. The design was complemented by the Instinct by Maco electronic locking system and WALA concealed hardware with adjustment in three planes and a cable pass in the upper hinge.

Just behind the pivot, visitors could admire the new version of the popular Aluron AS 178HS MODERN lift-and-slide solution in the Ultra variant with the narrowest center mullion with a width of just 25 mm. The system's design focuses on faster and easier prefabrication thanks to a straight-cut and bolted frame and better material optimization achieved by using the same section on both sides of the frame. The proposal was complemented by an integrated linear drainage system and 25mm led post lighting.

The second proposal of the HST type was aimed at lovers of traditional wooden structures, which can be reinforced from the outside with aluminum overlays. The Gemini SI 62 SLIM system with wood-aluminum profiles only 62 mm wide was equipped with a unique solution on the market of adjustable carriages to facilitate proper installation and a modern SIEGENIA hook-and-loop espagnolette.
Aluron presented at its booth two façade structures based on the ATF 50 system and its variant dedicated to residential construction - ATF 35. Minimalist vitrification of 35 mm aluminum visible on slender façade mullions was integrated with AS 75V ventilation sash ensuring free air circulation.

All structures prepared by Aluron were equipped with green gaskets made of ter-moplastic elastomer (TPE). The color was chosen by the system provider intentionally to emphasize their ecological dimension and the company's concern for the environment. TPE gaskets are 100% recyclable. In Aluron, the unused raw material is ground in suitable machines called mills. The resulting granulate is then added in the appropriate proportions to the original raw material. The independent production of gaskets allows the company to grant the product as much as a 12-year warranty.

Fair Wednesday with special guests

Aluron has prepared a special surprise for visitors. On Wednesday, January 15, the stand of the Zawiercie-based system provider was visited by special guests: Michał Winiarski, coach of the Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie team and one of the most successful Polish volleyball players, and Mateusz Bieniek, silver medalist of the 2024 Olympic Games. The athletes were returning from Innsbruck, where they defeated the Hypo Tirol Innsbruck team 0:3 in the CEV Champions League 2024/2025.
The volleyball players were extremely interested in the presented structures, the ins and outs of which were explained to them by Artur Blukacz, director of research and development at Aluron. Their attention was particularly drawn to the possibilities of producing tall doors, reaching over 3 meters. After the demonstration, the volleyball players spent time at the booth talking to visitors and handing out autographs on special club balls.

Number of visitors a measure of success

A steady stream of visitors rolled through Aluron's booth throughout the week. The system provider's staff of nearly 25 people gave tours, presentations, handed out marketing materials and answered all the questions asked.

The BAU 2025 trade fair was an exceptionally successful event for us, both in terms of the number of visitors and the enthusiastic reactions of customers from all over the world. We were particularly pleased by the presence of numerous visitors from Poland, who came to learn about our novelties and to strengthen or establish cooperation. By design, we focused on presenting mainly new solutions, which was met with great appreciation. Customers appreciated our technological advantages and the fact that we prepared the largest number of
product launches. Of particular interest was the AS 100 Pivot door, considered a breakthrough. This is because we eliminated all the problems faced by other system providers producing systems of this type. In my opinion, the BAU 2025 fair strengthened Aluron's position as the fastest growing aluminum system supplier. - Lukasz Kucharczyk, commercial director at Aluron, concluded.
