Deante Design Studio at Cersaie 2026. World premiere of the Carta collection by emo design

22 of August '26

In September, Deante Design Studio will be in Bologna for Cersaie 2026, one of the most important events in the global ceramics and bathroom fixtures industry. It is there that the brand will present, for the first time, the complete Carta by emo design collection, created in collaboration with the Italian studio Emo Design and recognized this year with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

At the Heart of Global Design

From September 21 to 25, Bologna will once again become one of the most important destinations on the global design map. For years, Cersaie has attracted manufacturers, architects, interior designers, and industry representatives from around the world, offering the opportunity to see the latest collections, materials, and solutions that are increasingly setting trends in bathroom and interior design. It is here that you can get an up-close look at the directions in which bathroom design is evolving and talk with designers about the technologies, materials, and design concepts that will shape the coming seasons.

For Deante Design Studio, this year’s presence in Bologna will be an opportunity to present the full Carta by emo design collection, created in collaboration with the Italian studio Emo Design. Its world premiere will take place at booth B77 in Hall P21, where architects and designers will have the chance to explore all the products in the collection.

From Warsaw to Bologna

Carta by emo design was designed in the spirit of conscious minimalism. Its understated form leaves room for interior architecture while adding a distinctive, refined detail. Rather than making the product subservient to fleeting trends, the collection’s creators focused on solutions that can remain relevant for years to come and fit seamlessly into a variety of spaces designed by architects and designers.

During the May edition of ARCHITECT@WORK in Warsaw, the brand showcased selected models from the Carta by emo design collection in Poland for the first time, giving architects and designers the opportunity to explore the collection even before its official launch. The very format of the event—aimed primarily at professionals in architecture and interior design—fostered direct discussion about the collection’s design, functionality, and potential applications.

The pre-launch showcase proved to be a significant moment not only from the perspective of promoting the new collection but also for gauging industry feedback. The Deante Design Studio booth was visited by architects, interior designers, and media representatives, who were able to see selected Carta pieces in person and discuss the project’s concepts with the brand’s team. Direct contact with professionals provided valuable feedback and confirmed that the direction taken in creating the collection meets current market needs. After the event, Deante Design Studio emphasized that the discussions regarding quality, design, and the challenges architects face today were particularly valuable.

ARCHITECT@WORK thus became the first chapter in the story of Carta by emo design in Poland. The preview of the collection shown in Warsaw captured its essence, while at Cersaie, the brand will be able to present the project in a more complete context, showcasing its scale, cohesion, and all its elements.

International Recognition

Deante Design Studio’s presence at this year’s Cersaie takes on an additional dimension. Carta by emo design received the Red Dot Design Award this year, one of the most recognizable and prestigious international accolades in the field of design. For Deante Design Studio, this is already its second such award. In 2024, the competition jury recognized the Silia rain shower, highlighting its form, functionality, and build quality.

In the case of Carta by emo design, it is also particularly significant that the project was the result of an international collaboration. Deante Design Studio combined its experience with the expertise of the Italian design studio Emo Design to create a collection that meets both the needs of users and the requirements of the professional design community. The award demonstrates that the brand’s consistently developed design strategy is also gaining recognition on the international stage.

The Architect as a Partner in the Design Process

For Deante Design Studio, its presence at Cersaie is also part of a broader strategy to build relationships with the architectural community. For the brand, meetings with architects are, above all, an opportunity to discuss what designers need today and how bathroom fixtures can better meet the demands of contemporary interiors. Direct dialogue allows us to better understand their perspectives, experiences, and expectations, as well as draw inspiration from them when working on future collections.

Collaboration with architects is an important part of our design process because it allows us to view a product from the perspective of its actual use. Conversations held during events such as ARCHITECT@WORK or Cersaie go beyond simply presenting collections. They involve an exchange of experiences regarding proportions, functionality, materials, finishes, and how specific solutions work within the overall design. It is precisely these conversations that give rise to a valuable dialogue, which helps us consciously develop future collections,” says Paulina Winnicka, Manager of Architect Collaboration at Deante.

This year’s Cersaie will be another opportunity for such meetings. Deante Design Studio invites architects, interior designers, and representatives of the trade media to visit booth B77 in Hall P21, where the full Carta by emo design collection—already recipient of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award—will be officially unveiled for the first time.
