Shigeru Ban Architects is an international architectural firm founded in 1985 by Shigeru Ban, a Japanese architect born in Tokyo in 1957. The office has branches in Tokyo, New York and Paris. The studio is known for its innovative approach to materials and for creating lightweight, sustainable structures - especially using recycled paper and other eco-friendly raw materials.
