The largest provincial investment in health care in the region's history is being built in Lower Silesia. The new Oncology Hospital will occupy an area of more than 100,000 m², and Cemex Poland is contributing to its construction. GREEN cement from the Vertua® brand product portfolio has been used for the concrete bases of the investment.
The newly constructed Oncology Hospital in Wroclaw is a massive investment, scheduled to take three years to build and will cost around PLN 1.5 billion. The facility will have an area of 100,502.79sqm, which will include four above-ground floors and one underground floor. In addition to 26 inpatient wards and 30 outpatient treatment units, the hospital will also include 73 outpatient clinics and 14 operating rooms, and there will be more than 1,000 parking spaces for patients and their loved ones. Such a huge construction project requires the highest quality products and materials, some of which are being supplied by Cemex Poland. The construction site receives GREEN cement - CEM II/B-S 42.5 N-NA from the plant in Rudniki, which is used for concrete bases of C25F5 class. The Rutecki Flooring Company is responsible for their implementation. It is a family-owned company that specializes in concrete screeds, foam concrete or industrial flooring, among other things. The company is a long-term partner of Cemex Poland.
